Overruns and Underruns
When you order promotional products from Garrett Specialties, you are charged for the quantity you ordered. If additional pieces are produced as part of the normal production process, Garrett Specialties absorbs the cost of those overruns rather than charging you for merchandise you did not order.
What Are Overruns?
An overrun occurs when the production process results in more finished pieces than the quantity ordered. Overruns can occur because manufacturers may produce additional pieces to allow for normal production variations.
Garrett Specialties does not charge you for these additional pieces. If usable overruns are produced with your order, the additional products are passed along to you at no additional product charge.
What Are Underruns?
An underrun occurs when the final production quantity is less than the quantity originally ordered. This can happen in promotional product manufacturing when pieces are lost during printing, decorating, inspection or other stages of production.
Garrett Specialties does not pass an under-produced quantity along to the customer as a completed order. Our policy is that customers receive the quantity they ordered.
You Pay for the Quantity You Ordered
If you order 1,000 promotional products, you are charged for 1,000 promotional products. You will not be billed for additional pieces simply because the production run resulted in an overrun.
This policy helps make the quantity and product cost of your order easier to understand without an unexpected charge for additional merchandise you did not request.
