What Is a Pre-Production Sample?
A pre-production sample is different from a random sample. A random sample generally shows the product as previously produced, while a pre-production sample is created using your specific logo, artwork or message.
How a Pre-Production Sample Works
To produce a pre-production sample, the required setup is completed and your artwork is applied to the product you have selected. The customized sample is then shipped to you so you can review it before the full production order is completed.
Additional Costs
There are additional costs associated with producing a pre-production sample, and these costs are the responsibility of the customer. Depending on the product and decoration requirements, charges may include the product itself, setup charges, plates, films, digitizing, color separation when necessary, shipping and other production-related costs.
If more than one imprint color is required, additional setup and running charges may also apply.
Allow Additional Production Time
Please allow approximately 1–2 weeks for the production of a pre-production sample. The sample must be produced and shipped for your review before the order can proceed through the remaining production process.
