What is the difference between Highlighters and Regular Markers? If you use a marker to go over text, you hide it. If you use a highlighter to go over text, you emphasize it. Basically, a highlighter uses transparent ink, while a marker uses opaque.

A set of Highlighters has become a popular addition to any student’s pen case.  You’re reading some important article and want to remember a quote, so you pull out your highlighter and mark the important parts of the article.  Highlighters. are part of a teacher’s daily arsenal. Blue
 is best used for learning situations which are challenging. Blue paper, blue ink, or blue highlighting can be used to help improve reading comprehension too. Blue in general it seems is a relaxing and calming color, but lighter shades will seem more ‘friendly’ while darker ones seem a little more somber. Blue is also a color of trust.
